Ming dynasty, 17th century

well cast seated in vajraparyankasana with the hands in dhyanamudra, wearing a long flowing robe and dhoti, open at the chest, the face with a contemplative expression detailed with downcast eyes beneath high arched brows, flanked by long pendulous ears, all supported on a lotus base comprised of three tiers of overlapping petals
