A Group of Four Danish Silver Table Articles, Evald Nielsen, Copenhagen, First Quarter 20th Century
all with spot-hammered surface, the Tray chased with budding flowers, the stems form the handles, the base engraved with a presentation inscription dated1917; the Pitcher chased with beaded tendrils and foliage, 1920; the Vase partly-fluted and chased with a band of leaves, 1924; the Bowl chased with poppies, with detachable inner rim, circa 1930
all marked on bases, the tray, pitcher and vase with marks for assay master Christian F. Heise
