Released in 1989 to commemorate Patek Philippe’s 150th anniversary, the reference 3718 is one of the rarest Calatravas in the collection. Created exclusively for the Japanese market in partnership with retailer Nishibo Shoji, the model was limited to just 500 total pieces across two dial variations: ivory-white and slate-grey.

The present example features the pristine ivory-white dial, paired with a 33mm stainless steel case in excellent overall condition considering its age. Powered by the mechanical calibre 215, it embodies the timeless sophistication of the line. The case back features a commemorative medallion centered by the iconic Calatrava Cross and engraved "1839–1989." Combining anniversary heritage, extreme rarity, and understated steel casing, this piece is a collector's find.
