A refined masterpiece, the present Royal Oak Quantieme Perpetuel reimagines the now classic reference 25554, which served to save the brand by combining Gerald Genta’s iconic design with high Swiss watchmaking during the Quartz Crisis. Significantly, the present lot builds upon the legendary line of references by adding an integrated 52-week peripheral indicator and increasing the case size to a more wearable 41 mm upon its unveiling in 2015. Featuring a striking blue tapisseries dial, it acts as a canvas for its balanced layout that greatly enhances its legibility and is celebrated by watch enthusiasts for its balanced proportion that offers an effortless wrist presence.
