Limited to 200 pieces, the present Master Series Minute Repeater truly upholds Jaeger LeCoultre’s reputation as the “watchmaker of watchmakers”. Housed inside the grade 5 titanium case is the prized Calibre 947, a grand compilation unveiled in 2005. This impressive piece of mechanical ingenuity directly solders the gong’s base to the sapphire crystal and uses the acoustic amplifier to dramatically increase the sound volume and the clarity of the chime as well.
