A set of four Italian parcel-gilt silver salts

Giuseppe Valadier, Rome, circa 1804


Oval form, on four twin lion paw feet, the bodies with gilt swags punctuated by lion masks below a band of wave ornament, with gilt liners, the handles modelled as eagles with wings spread.
