the pierced body decorated with a displaying peacock in a woody flowering trellis and scrolling foliage in cloisonné, champlevé and plique-à-jour enamel in reds, blues, green and blushed whites, the hinged cover opening to reveal a brightly-enamelled jewellery box in the shape of a nestling peacock chick with a diamond-set crest and feathers, set with emerald eyes, resting on a pierced base, blue velvet and white silk-lined case, gold-stamped with three royal warrants and Garrard The Crown Jewellers
