The Rolex Daytona reference 6262 is a highly coveted transitional model. It preserves the aesthetic of the original reference 6239, including the pump pushers, while being powered by the upgraded calibre 727 that will be later found in references 6263 and 6265. These appealing characteristics combined with a very short production period make it a favourite among collectors.
This example has a very well-preserved silvered dial with nicely patinated indexes.
