Rolex made many special order dials throughout the years for companies and individuals, and one of the most collectable types is what is referred to as the ‘Qaboos’ dial, bearing the signature of Qaboos bin Said al Said, the Sultan of Oman.
Recently rediscovered, this example has a very well-preserved pie-pan dial with a beautifully crisp red Qaboos signature.
The watch bears the reference 1803, which is THE reference to have when it comes to the Day-Date.
