Raging Bull (1980) is a biographical film directed by Martin Scorsese, and based on Jake LaMotta's memoir Raging Bull: My Story. The film stars Robert De Niro as Jake LaMotta, Cathy Moriarty and Joe Pesci. It shows the life of boxer, Jake LaMotta, and how what made him a world champion, also destroyed his relationship with his wife and family.
The original owner of the present lot was a limo driver in New York, who regularly chauffeured Jake LaMotta. He purchased the poster and kept it in his car for when he would next collect the world champion boxer.
