shallow circular bowl embossed and chased with lobes and strapwork with fruit clusters at intervals all on matted ground, matching lower body and top of the foot, vase-shaped stem with three scroll brackets, lower foot engraved with interlaced strapwork, the center of the bowl engraved with a coat of arms and initials IS, marked with maker’s and city mark in bowl and under foot

Rosenberg lists a silver-gilt cup with cold enamel decoration, the cover with pelican finial, dated 1583 by this maker, no. 4730, exhibited Kunsthistorische Sammlungen , Vienna, 1904 and a lidded jug chased with scenes in the collection of Baron Alfred v. Rothschild, London, 1882.
