woodblock print, embellished with embossing, from an untitled series of okubi-e actors past and present, signed Nanajuhassai Toyokuni ga (Picutered by Toyokuni at the age of 78) within toshidama cartouche, censor’s seal aratame (certified), published by Ebisuya Shoshichi (Kinshindo), block-cutter: Horiko Ryuzo (Kiyomizu Ryuzo), 7th month 1863; with collector's seal of Gerhard Pulverer to verso
