Born in 1975, the Laureato was Girard-Perregaux's response to an evolving market where stainless steel bracelet watches started to gain consideration from collectors. In fact, the Laureato was launched 3 years after the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and 1 year before the Patek Philippe Nautilus, two of its main competitors in the category.
The present 38mm example allows for a comfortable wear on any wrist. The elegant timepiece features a striking blue dial with a hobnail texture, fitted with raised luminous indexes and matching hands. The date is very elegantly integrated to the dial, with a matching blue disc. Movement-wise, this timepiece is reliably powered by the calibre GP03300-0132, offering 46 hours of power reserve in a compact and nicely finished package.
The unworn watch is offered with its original documentation and presentation case with outer packaging and cardboard outer-box. The retail price for this piece is currently CHF 10'900.
