Description
Hermitage Rouge 1988
Jean-Louis Chave
Levels into the neck, Slightly scuffed and slightly bin-soiled vintage neck labels, labels, and capsules, 1 label and 2 vintage neck labels re-applied with adhesive, 2 loosely adhered labels and vintage neck labels, 3 slightly sunken corks
In 2016, this has that leathery Chave nose, so nostalgic and almost from another epoch. Rich, earthy, full of herbs
and spices and absolutely made for grouse and other feathered game. Not bad with black truffles from the Rhône either! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
