Decanter #124 of 250, inscription dedicated to "Arthur's", in original presentation case with original accessories, there is a 8cm scratch to the top of the presentation case.
Created to honor the 7th generation Master Blender from the Fillioux family handing over the reins to the 8th generation, the Hennessy H8 Cognac is made up of 8 exceptional eaux-de-vie, seven of which were by the now-retired Yann Fillioux, combined with a final component selected by Renaud de Gironde, who has taken over as cellar master.
Limited to just 250 decanters, this blown glass Baccarat crystal decanter, set with eight rings, is unique in that it is engraved for Arthur's Cellar in Geneva.
Tasting Notes
COLOUR
Deep mahogany with ruby reflections.
NOSE
An extraordinary Cognac. Not overly woody or harsh, but instead showing unparalleled refined aromas: dry, with a distinct spicy oakiness, beautifully balanced with vibrant notes of grape and dark fruits.
PALATE
Rich, complex, and velvety on the tongue, elegantly displaying berry notes, warm spices, toasted oak, vanilla and toffee. The finish seems endless.
