This has always been a wine to cause comment, seemingly super-extracted and sweet. In 2014, it was all toffee and raisins, with high volatile acidity that makes it seem almost ageless. A conundrum, but a riveting one. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

The property of a wonderful wine and gastronomy enthusiast, here, we have the whole ‘éventail’ of legendary vintages represented with Haut Brion 1928, Cheval Blanc 1929, Lafite and La Mission Haut Brion 1945, as well as the exceptional vintage pair of 1959 and 1961 from Latour to Haut Brion, La Mission Haut Brion to Petrus. Also featured is Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, including a unique Richebourg 1947, the extraordinary 1969 Romanée-Conti along with two exceptional bottles of Chambertin 1959 from Domaine Armand Rousseau.
