Damjanski, a Yugoslavian artist living in a browser, is renowned for his innovative approach to art, power, poetry, and participation. His work often explores the illogical connections in everyday life, transforming them into thought-provoking digital experiences. As a co-founder of the artist collective Do Something Good, Damjanski has been instrumental in democratizing art spaces and curatorial processes, notably through the MoMAR project at New York's Museum of Modern Art.

Celebrating the Lumen Prize anniversary, Damjanski presents "Unhuman Composition Moving" (2024), a mesmerizing evolution of his previous work, "Unhuman Composition." This piece, a generative animation, assigns each detected object a direction and speed, creating a dynamic and ever-changing visual experience. The artwork, currently 10 minutes long, will be refined to a 1-3 minute piece for the final presentation, depending on the minting platform's size limitations.

"Unhuman Composition Moving" invites viewers to explore the abstraction of our tangible world through their smartphones. Using an algorithm that detects objects in images, each picture is converted into a geometric composition of bright colors on a black background. This participatory project encourages viewers to engage with the artwork actively, transforming everyday scenes into abstract art.

Damjanski's work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Musée de l'Elysée in Lausanne and various other prestigious venues. His innovative use of technology and his ability to create interactive, immersive experiences have made him a standout figure in contemporary art. "Unhuman Composition Moving" offers a hypnotic and engaging experience that challenges viewers to see the world through a different lens. His unique approach to art, where apps become artworks and participation is key, continues to captivate and inspire audiences worldwide. His work questions the nature of art and invites us to reconsider our interactions with technology and the world around us.
