This January, The Story Café has collaborated with British illustrator Anglica Hicks, renowned for her witty, fashion-infused artwork that blends pop culture with sharp humour to celebrate the launch of Sotheby’s book with Phaidon, Icons: 100 Extraordinary Objects from Sotheby’s History. Icons traces the stories behind 100 of the most celebrated objects to have passed through Sotheby’s doors, from its inception as a London bookseller in 1744 to the global stage today.
