On 7 November, Sotheby’s celebrated the life and legacy of renowned journalist and editor Jean Stein with a martini and oyster reception in the style of the collector’s own legendary salon-like gatherings. The evening’s hosts Mari-Claudia Jiménez, Managing Director of Trusts & Estates and Valuations, and Molly Ott Ambler, Senior International Specialist of Impressionist & Modern Art, mingled with guests in the Library by Loro Piana and discussed superb works by Alberto Giacometti, Andy Warhol, and René Magritte.
