Condition
The panel is sound. Inspection under UV light reveals a varnish preventing the light from fully penetrating, however, there are scattered spots of retouching, notably to the lower left edge. All four corners have evidence of abrasion which has disturbed the paint surface. There is a small pigment loss in the centre of the upper edge. The varnish to the surface of the work has slightly discoloured and may benefit from cleaning. There is frame abrasion to all four edges which are not visible when framed. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
