The front section composed of floral and foliate scrolls, rising to alternating spikes and cartouche motifs, millegrain-set with circular-, single-cut and rose diamonds, to a flexible band, inner circumference approximately 290mm, detaching to form the front part of a necklace, fitted box stamped Collingwood & Co.

Condition

Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 13.00 - 15.00 carats, estimated to be approximately H-J colour, VS - SI clarity, on average, some I clarity. Central diamond measuring approximately 7.4x 7.4 x 3.5mm, estimated weight approximately 1.50 carats, estimated to be approximately J/K colour, VS2 clarity. Back section of tiara with elasticated fabric band. Front part detaching to form front part of necklace - rear connecting chain not included with lot. Tiara height approximately 68mm at tallest point. Length of curved band approximately 290mm, expandable. Mounted in silver on gold, discolouration and scratches to metal consistent with age. Smaller cartouche motifs possibly later re-plated. Gross weight approximately 46 grams. Overall in good condition, commensurate with age and wear. Accompanied by fitted blue case stamped Collingwood and co.
