Condition

Overall good condition consistent with age and use. The wood is dried overall, more especially on the top and the reverse of the mirror, with some cracks in the wood. The top of the dressing table is slightly discolored overall and presents with several lighter circular stains. The corners of the top present with some small chips to the veneer, slightly more significant on the two proper right corners. The elements of the base are slightly disjoined, with some liftings of wood and a few small chips at the bottom, partially visible on the catalogue illustration. The underside of the top presents with two chips of veneer including a larger one of approximately 2 ½ x 1 inches not visible when facing the dressing table. Very few and very rare traces of previous woodworms holes scattered. Some V-shaped metal elements have been added later to fix the mirrors to the base and prevent the mirrors from moving.
