Condition

The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals some spots of retouching towards the centre of the left edge, to the upper left corner and to the left part of the upper edge. There are some scattered dots of cosmetic retouching to the sky and towards the centre of the composition to the grass. There are two small dots of paint loss to the sitter's hair and to the sitter's stomack and a few additionnal paint loss to the extreme edges. There is a fly spot towards the centre of the left edge. There is a network of stable craquellure throughout the composition. This work is in overall good condition.
