Condition
The panel is somewhat bowed to the centre and has some chipping at the extreme framing edges. The painting surface appears to be very fragile, with scattered spots of paint loss, some of which are visible in the catalogue illustration, and areas of lifting throughout - these might benefit from some work of consolidation. Ultra-violet light reveals no visible sign of retouching.
