Oil on canvas, relined. The edges of the original canvas are visible at the edges in the current framing; the work has been relined with a very coarse, open-weave canavs or burlap. Canvas seam or evidence of a fold is prominent across the center of the canvas. Areas of flattened craquelure are visible throughout the canvas. Under UV light there is a green fluorescing varnish. There are small scattered spots of inpainting across the picture plane and strengthening to the tree at back.
