Condition
The unbeveled panel is flat and stable and cradled on the reverse. The paint surface is in good condition and the colors are fresh. The sky and background are rather thin in areas causing the ground to show through though this does not detract from the image. There is a minor loss to the tree upper left. Inspection under UV reveals old retouching throughout the sky and possible strengthening to the two smaller trees at center, the buildings, lake and pathway at left. The figures have remained largely untouched. The painting requires no further work and can be hung in its present state. Offered unframed.
