  • 14 3/4 by 16 3/8 in.; 37.5 by 41.5 cm.

Condition

Oil on panel, unframed. There are two vertical bars across the back of the panel to support the work. It is relatively flat, though there is a horizontal panel crack extending across the work through the chest of Christ. There is a shiny varnish over the entire work. A few minor nicks and tiny abrasions and losses along the extreme edges. Under UV light, the work is difficult to read; the majority comes up very dark. There are dashes of inpaint in Christ's white robe and in the sky at upper right to address areas of thinness. The previously mentioned panel crack has also been retouched.
