The Contemporary Art Day Auction on 29 June 2017 in London brings together an exciting group of works by some of the most sought-after artists of the moment. With a strong emphasis on works by established artists, the sale includes outstanding examples of post-war abstract painting with works by Lucio Fontana, Josef Albers, Günther Uecker and Kenneth Noland, as well as more recent figurative paintings by artists such as Georg Baselitz, Lucian Freud and Michael Borremans. Featuring prominently on the cover of the catalogue is an outstanding computer painting by Albert Oehlen, which leads the single-owner group Line of Thought: Works from the Lorie Peters Lauthier Collection, which also includes works by Anselm Kiefer, Tony Cragg, Wolfgang Tillmans and Roni Horn, amongst others.
