Original roan-backed green cloth, bevelled boards, upper board decoratively gilt-lettered with floral motif, spine gilt-lettered, printed endpapers; spine worn with loss to roan, edges rubbed. Hand-colored map (23 3/8 x 29 1/8 in.; 670 x 740mm), folding to small 4to. Map backed with silk. Contemporary morocco folder, boards gilt-ruled, gilt crown device to upper cover, watered silk doublures; corners and spine rubbed with loss to morocco.
