Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the candy shades are richer in the original and the illustration fails to convey the areas of impasto.
Condition: This work is in good condition. There are two flakes of paint which have lifted near the upper centre of the right edge. At the lower middle of the left edge, there is a stable network of fine craquelure. There are two networks of stable, hairline cracks near the top left and bottom right quadrants, respectively. There are two minor paint losses at the bottom right and top right. There is no restoration visible under U.V. light.
