Unlike the majority of memorials worked at Saint Joseph's Academy, the building in the background was possibly derived from a print or a drawing book. The embroiderer was probably Sarah or Ellen Lindsay, who attended the academy in 1828, or Sarah Lindsay, who was enrolled in 1831-1832. The early enrollment records do not include parents' names or home locations.
