Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although fails to fully convey the metallic quality of the gilded platinum leaf.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a minute scratch to the overturn edge towards the lower right corner and two further very minor scratches to the top left corner of the far right panel, a minor spot of paint loss to the top right corner tip of the second panel from the right and a minute rub mark towards the bottom edge of the third panel from the left. There are some very faint handling marks to the top edge of the far left panel. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
