Pencil and colored crayons. To commemorate the opening of Disney World, October 25, 1971, Meredith Wilson, the real “Music Man”, was conductor of the band of 1076 players at the parade. Drawn on Dr. Seuss La Jolla Stationery. Measures 10-3/8 x 7-1/8 inches.

Theodore Seuss Geisel (1904–1991) was an American artist, writer, illustrator and cartoonist best known for his quirky characters in children’s books written under the name Dr. Seuss. A most prolific writer and artist who illustrated books, magazines, advertisements, propaganda and various animated films, brought us the Grinch (1957), Horton (1955), and The Cat in the Hat (1957) among many other classics.
