It is very rare to find a relief-decorated Kangxi vase of this type, although two powder-blue vases of different form, decorated with similar technique and in similar colours, are on display in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, both from Salting Bequest, one decorated with the 'Eight Immortals' acquisition no.C966-1910, the other with a dragon among clouds, no.C988-1910.
