?FROM THE LIBRARY OF THE AUTHOR. Sir Arnold T. Wilson (1884–1940) was the British civil commissioner in Baghdad from 1918 to 1920. Wilson served under Percy Cox, the colonial administrator of Mesopotamia (Mandatory Iraq) during and after World War I. He was also the author of a bibliography on Persia (1930). Many of these offprints were produced for presentation by the author or the society who published them. It would appear that this volume of articles, all by Wilson, was probably assembled by the author.
