Refinished surface. There is a vertical age split to each side of the case. There are patches to the beaded edge of each drawer, particularly above the lock mechanism. There are five small patches towards the back of the top and their placement suggests that an additional element (perhaps a mirror), previously surmounted the top. The bottom 2 1/2 inches of the foot facings of the proper front left foot are patched, as is the bottom 2 1/2 inches of the proper back right foot facing. Hardware (escutcheons and pulls) is replaced.
