The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is much brighter and more vibrant, with the orange tending more towards a deep post-box red in the original. The illustration also fails to convey the rich surface texture apparent in the original.
This work is in very good condition. There are a few light handling marks around the edges of the work. The red pigment is very loose, in keeping with the artist's choice of medium.
