Structurally sound. There are one or two instances of glaze loss to the rim and upper area of the piece, as is common with low-fired pieces by Cardew, as well as to the edges of the handles. There is a small glaze firing defect to the lower part of the front. There is a light crackle to the clear earthenware glaze, in keeping with the nature of the artist's materials. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition.
