Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is light handling and wear to the edges including scattered light scuff marks. Close inspection reveals scattered scuff marks across the canvas. Under further close inspection there is a pinpoint pigment loss ½ inches from the right edge and 3 inches from the bottom edge and scattered drip accretions throughout. Under extremely close inspection and in raking light there is scattered stable craquelure visible most notably in the light green paint. Under further extremely close inspection and raking light there is an area of radial craquelure extending 3 ½ inches, 5 inches from the bottom and 6 inches from the left. Under ultraviolet light inspection, the aforementioned drip accretions fluoresce lightly but do not appear to be evidence of restoration. Framed.
