Condition

DIAL: dial and hands are in very good condition CASE: Good definition. Some scratches to the case. There is a dent to the case profile at 10 and another at the tip of the bottom left lug. With some strap changing marks to the bottom of all four lugs. The back bears some scratches, probably due to previous opening attempts. The reference number and serial number are intact and clearly legible between the lugs. The bezel insert is in good condition. Bracelet: reference 93150 Z6, with 501B endlinks. Bracelet bears scuffs throughout and is a little stretched MOVEMENT: running at the time of cataloguing, date advances, seconds hack when the crown is pulled out Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of its timekeeping. The reference 16610 was produced for more than 20 years between 1987 and 2010 and introduced major technical innovations. It replaced the outgoing Submariner reference 16800 and is considered by many collectors as the last “pre-modern” iteration, before Rolex introduced the maxi cases and the ceramic bezel insert with ref. 116610.
