Launched at Baselworld in 2015, the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time was an interesting departure from the more traditional design aesthetic of Patek Philippe. The oversized model pays tribute to early pilot watches but the reference 5524G is a modern, user friendly version. The blue and luminous dial make an excellent colour combination, and can be easily read when worn at night or in darkness. At the 6 o'clock position there is a large subsidiary dial for the date. Additionally at 3 and 9 o'clock there is an aperture for home and local times with AM/PM indications.
