THE FIRST COLOUR PLATE BOOK OF AMSTERDAM AND ITS ENVIRONS. A rare complete set of these beautiful views of historic sites, streets and monuments of Amsterdam, together with views of Haarlem, Soestdijk, The Hague, Apeldoorn and Broekhuizen. The publisher, Frans Buffa, was an art dealer in the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam, and a well-known publisher of art books and print-series in the first half of the nineteenth century.
