Including descriptions of the coasts of Arabia, the Red Sea, Muscat, Bahrain and the Persian Gulf, and an account of pearl fishing. Much of the material is taken from John Ovington's Voyage to Suratt (1696). Jonathan Swift appears to have used this account in the writing of Gulliver's Travels. As well as copying one part of it more or less verbatim, Swift includes a preface from a cousin of Gulliver called Richard Sympson.
