- A pair of photograph albums of Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. [1880s-90s]
2 volumes, oblong folio (285 x 390mm.), 107 albumen prints (56+51, average 205 x 270mm., or the reverse), many signed Bonfils in the negative, mounted on thick card, recto and verso, contemporary red half morocco, green cloth boards, upper covers titled in gilt "PALESTINE I" and "PALESTINE II", some spotting and fading, some dust-staining to mounts, bindings slightly rubbed
