  • A collection of five photographs of Mecca and the Mahmal. [late nineteenth and early twentieth century]
5 photographs (average 230 x 180mm., or the reverse), unmounted, comprising: 3 matt silver prints of Mecca (each with the stamp of C. Chusseau-Flaviens on the reverse), one albumen print by H. Arnoux of a camel caravan crossing the Suez canal, and one press photo of the Egyptian Mahmal (with New York Times stamp and caption on the reverse)
