拍品資料及來源

The Pool of Siloam is located to the south of Jerusalem's city walls. In this watercolour Roberts has depicted a number of the ancient ombs that are cut into the rock and are thought to be the burial sites of the highest-ranking officials of the Judean kingdom.  We are very grateful to Briony Llewellyn for her help when cataloguing this lot.
