Condition
Good overall condition. Under UV light : a large repaint on the model's left sleeve. Several repaints on the edge of the trousers, and some tiny repaints on the calf, of the left leg. Some small repaint scattered on the surface. In its beautiful original frame.

Robaudi was inspired by subjects taken from historical novels, and exhibited his works at the Paris Salon since 1874. Today, he is mainly known as the illustrator of Alexandre Dumas, George Sand, and Honoré de Balzac.
