Condition
Good overall condition. Relined. The painting is dirty and would benefit from a light cleaning. Please note that the painting is signed and dated "PAUL SCHEIDECKER 1882", and not "Scheidecker 1882". Several repaints are visible to the naked eye. A restoration corresponds to an old tear of about 3 cm on the sail. There is another restoration under the sail. Under the UV light : the repaints visible under the UV light are also visible on the canvas.
