decorated with central roses bouquet in a médaillon framed by a row of pearls, the rim with three bouquets and foliage garlands un three réserves framed by golden palmettes on blue background; marked with the interlaced LL, letter date HH for 1785, one with the mark of the painter Cornailles and the gilder Chavaux, the second with the mark of the painter Hirel de Choisy and the gilder Chauvaux, the third with the mark of the painter Tandart and the gilder vincent

These three plates come from a service offered by Louis XVI to Archduke Ferdinand of Austria, brother of Marie-Antoinette, and to his wife the Archduchess Marie-Béatrice during their visit in 1786 under the name of count and countess of Nellembourg. The decoration is described as fond bleu céleste, Marguerites, barbeaux et Roses.
