Condition

The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition. There are multiple traces of previous bronze mounts on the facade. We think the bookcase was created without any mounts. It has been decorated later and then they have been removed. The front columns were probably fitted with ornaments such as urns. These ornaments are now missing, there is a fitting hole at the top of each one. A small restoration the mahogany at the lower part of the left door. A few scratches to the veneer. A small loss to a lateral moulding of the plinth.
